Dr. Farouk is an interventional radiologist with over 15 years of experience. He is a professor of interventional neuroradiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. He was trained in France, where he obtained the French diploma of diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology from Paris-Descartes University and the AFSA of Neurointervention from Lille University. He also holds the European Diploma of Neurointervention (ECMINT/Oxford).
Dr. Farouk Hassan
Dr. Farouk is a member of several esteemed associations, including the World Stroke Organisation (WSO), the European Society of Neurointervention (ESMINT), and the World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology (WFITN). He has been invited to attend, present, and coordinate interventional neuroradiology conferences from all over the world.
Dr. Farouk has also received awards for his role in establishing the interventional neuroradiology unit at Zagazig University Hospital, Elmenia University Hospital, and Banha. He is fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
